Sinterklaas

Sinterklaas officially starts the Christmas season for our family. This year Sinterklaas was a lot of fun.  We started by making vanilla GFCF Cupcakes for our "S" (for Sorenson) letterbanket.  I am still looking for a "S" cake pan.  If anyone sees one anywhere let me know.  For know it is cupcakes.

They start licking before I can even get the attachment off!

The finished letterbanket

Neve with the water, carrots and hay for Sinterklaas' horse,
as well as cupcakes for Sinterklaas.

The treats that Sinterklass put in the clogs SECONDS before
the children came down the stairs.  Someone accidentally fell asleep on the couch.....

Now the kids know that Sinterklaas is in town and doing reconnasiance before Christmas to see if the have been naughty or nice.

Nothing like candy at 6:30 in the morning.

 Dane's sugar smile

I think this year has been the best in regards to Sinterklaas. As the kids are getting older we are enjoying the holidays more and more. They even sang the Sinterklaas song in Dutch this year.  Neve walks around the house singing "Sinterklaas Kapoentje, Gooi wat in mijn schoentje.... It is hilarious! We are so blessed to have these two little squirts in our life.
