I'm overwhelmed with these daily (sometimes twice a day)outfit changes along with the common use of swimsuits and beach towels. Throw in an occasional nighttime bedwetting incident and I just can't keep up. The scene above is such a constant in our home, I'm afraid that people will start to think it is part of our decor.
I bet it was a fed up housewife sick of laundry that started the phenomenon of the nudist colony. It sure would cut down on laundry and the never ending cyclic nature of housework. Just one option to ponder.....
Option b would be a live in maid, once the money on the money tree blossoms, right? Where is Alice when I need her? Wouldn't you love to wake up to this face in your kitchen everyday?

Just like my laundry pile is never going to end, I don't think I will ever see option b happen either. One can always dream.
I think I am going to go with option c- color coordinate all our clothes to match our home decor. Since clearly the revolving pile of laundry is going nowhere!

Oh Brynn, I feel you, laundry does me in everytime I start to get my head above water around here. Sigh. Someday we'll miss it all, right? Right?
btw, it's been WAY too long since I've had a Brynn fix, are you coming anytime soon? If you are, and if you'd have time let me know and I'll plan a girls' night.
Ahh Brynn...laundry, laundry, laundry. The hardest part for me about adding a third child to our family has been all the extra house work it creates!
Nancy and I have that same exact laundry basket, but Nancy's is missing. Quentin already accused me of stealing it, now he'll think it was you! I have the same problem, only our pile is on our bedroom floor so I can shut the door when people come over. We just pull from the clean clothes until I get around to folding them. I love the wedding dress. Today at our church building we had 6 girls in them. My 2, Nancy's 3, and Susie (Josh's little sister). Too bad Neve wasn't here!
I hear ya girl! For me it's not so much getting the dirty clothes into the washer - it's the folding! I dump basket after basket of clean laundry on the bed with plans to fold while watching Ellen. Usually it ends up on the floor. Everytime I walk by I think "Why hasn't Alice cleaned up this mess already!?"
You are so funny!!!
